PHA on the Road… in Pittsburgh!

Are you prepared to communicate and advocate for yourself in a PH emergency? Trying to learn more about exercise and pulmonary rehabilitation with PH? Or just looking to connect with other people who know what it’s like to live with PH? Join us for PHA on the Road! Patients and families are invited for this FREE event. Learn from leading medical experts, connect with support groups and invite friends and family. Complimentary meals, parking and childcare will be provided.

What: PHA on the Road is a free day-long event for patients and families living with PH and associated conditions. This program offers interactive presentations, educational sessions and networking opportunities for patients, caregivers and PH medical experts in the region.

When: Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 8:00am to 4:30 pm.

November is Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month, and the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC want to celebrate with the PH community by hosting a Pulmonary Hypertension Research Day for Patients. Come and hear from our experts about the latest in PH research, and learn what investigators are working on NOW to better understand PH. We will have speakers and then opportunities to tour the labs in the Vascular Medicine Institute and get a true behind-the-scenes look at PH research.
